Watershed Coffee Table

The Watershed is a design that has seen many refinements over the years. Despite being a reasonably large and practical piece, the Watershed does not visually over-power a room. The Watershed beautifully compliments a sunlit, open-plan contemporary house, yet can equally grace a smaller, more traditional space.

The Watershed was designed soon after the Waterfall Stool. Evan wanted a coffee table design that was essentially traditional in scale, but that played with the light. The early Watersheds were quite tall and thin, but over the years we have made them lower and more architectural. There have been several derivations of this concept, including a small dining table.

Coffee tables are always a challenge to the designer for the simple fact that the functional and technical requirements are quite basic. A “good” coffee table contributes interest to the room without losing its fundamental utility.

We can easily adjust the proportions of this design to suit your space.

Dimensions: 1200mm L x 800mm W x 460mm H
Timber Types: blackwood (pictured) or jarrah. Other timbers available on request POA.
