The Petite Stork is the shorter version of our standard Stork Hall Table. This example is made from figured river red gum with wenge detailing.
The Stork Hall Table, like so many of our finest pieces, started life as a commission. The commissioning clients had a long entryway that required a piece with energy, personality and presence, but not visual weight. The Stork, which combines many typical Dunstone Design shapes and forms, fit the bill perfectly.
We have been able to play with similar shapes and configurations over and over again in the past 20 years, refining and tweaking as we go. The Stork is a fully mature design, based on a long journey of refinement.
The red gum used in this example is exceptional.
