Nungar Wall Mounted Drawers

The Nungar wall mounted drawer system was developed from a design Evan did for a Summer Handtools Masterclass. While fly fishing the Nungar creek in the Snowy Mountains, Evan was thinking about the design. He could see how to incorporate a series of signature Dunstone Design features, such as the Eyeline handle and cross-grain fluting in a wall mounted piece that was both practical and beautiful.

Wall mounted drawers can be used in a variety of ways, such as minimalist bedside tables or perhaps hall mounted storage. The wall mounted Nungars have a jewellry-box level of detail, with delicate Huon pine drawers and classic dovetails. The design will fit an ultra contemporary house or a simple cottage.

The Nungar is supported by a timber wall bracket that is easy to install. The bracket must be anchored to a wall stud (for a plaster wall) or directly in to brick or concrete. It should be possible to fix a Nungar on to just about any domestic house wall. We can advise you if your wall is suitable.
