The Jindabyne’s combination of soft lines and sharp detailing says “hand-made”. This design is a pallet for beautiful wood and fine skills; the hand (and eye) of the maker is evident in each one. We use our most compelling wood when we make this design.
Many coffee tables are simply too big and too visually heavy to grace a townhouse or an apartment. The Jindabyne’s configuration allows the proportions to be easily changed to suit your space. We can easily tailor the Jindabyne to suit any living space.
The Jindabyne was originally intended to compliment the Brolga Hall Table.
The design for this coffee table was sketched one night while camping on the banks of the Burrungebuggee River (near the ruins of the hut that was lost in the 2003 fires) after a day of fly fishing. Yes, they’d been biting! We stopped in Jindabyne for a pie on the way home and I complained to my fishing mate that “Burrungebuggee” was too much of a mouthful to call a coffee table. He said “call it the Jindabyne, and stop talking about furniture”. Fair enough.
