Heron Display Cabinet

Steve and Mary Anne were after a very special display cabinet to occupy pride-of-place in their living room. Steve, who has a particular interest in design and wood craftsmanship, was after an exhibition-quality piece.They wanted a “distinctive” piece of Dunstone Design, but not at the expense of function. I made a house call, did several drawings and, after much consultation, a design was arrived at. This design features our Arch handles in blackwood and wenge.

The client’s cabinet was in jarrah with rock maple details. This example, in Victorian blackwood with wenge detailing (pictured), was made for an exhibition and was available in our showroom for a while, but has since sold.
