The original River stool design was commissioned by furniture retail innovators Larry and Rosa Guo for their store in Alexandria, Sydney. They asked for a distinctly Dunstone Design low stool with a Scandinavian twist.
Our Double River stool was commissioned by a client from the Blue Mountains. To our surprise, the Double River stool is even more beautiful than the original! The double splayed legs with their fine shaping and crisp lines gives the stretched design a bold stance. The Double River stool features our signature through-wedged-tenons and oil finish. This design is perfect for an entry way or hallway.
