Aditi Sargeant

Aditi joined our team in April, 2023. They were working as a kids’ woodworking instructor at Two Sheds Workshop and had finally decided to bite-the-bullet and look for an apprenticeship. We’d just “put the word out” that we were looking for someone, and Aditi was the perfect fit. Aditi has completed their apprenticeship, after winning the ACFA Apprentice of the Year, and makes most of our complex cabinets. 

Aditi previously worked as a prosthetic and orthotic technician, where they developed an attention to detail and an understanding of precision manufacturing. They have brought this knowledge to their woodwork and can use it in a more artistic way. In their own work they’ve begun to explore a quirky and somewhat playful design style.

Aditi moonlights as our workshop photographer and manages most of our social media. Aditi has redefined the way we tell the story of our work.

Aditi was born and raised in Canberra. When not in the workshop, they can be found camping, hanging out with their dog Opal or going to music festivals.
