The Werriwa is one of our most appreciated designs; it’s superbly comfortable, beautifully crafted, looks “right” and is easy to alight from. The judges at the 2009 Furniture Industry Association of Australia’s “Australian Furniture of the Year Awards” were unanimous in their praise for the Werriwa, awarding it “Excellence in Furniture Using Leather”. The Werriwa was also awarded Open Champion at the Sydney Timber and Working with Wood Show in 2006 for craftsmanship and design.

The height, width and depth of the Werriwa can be customised to suit an individual’s needs. Like all our chairs, the support and shaping of the back is provided by flexible laminated timber slats. The seat is supported by a combination of Pirelli webbing and upholstery foam. We use the finest full grain leather for our upholstery.
The Werriwa Lounge was designed in 2005 and has been in small-batch production ever since. We carry limited stock of finished frames and usually build-to-order. We have made Werriwas for clients in blackwood, jarrah, red gum, red stringybark, white oak and American walnut.
The Werriwa is made in our Queanbeyan workshop by Australian craftsmen who are committed to excellence. The upholstery is done by local company Smart Upholstery using the leather colour of your choice.
