The delightfully light and wonderfully stable Horseshoe really can fit a wide range of roles. It’s easy to move around and it’s very striking, but its not visually dominant. It fits snuggly in a corner and is also comfortable on center-stage. Like the Cataract Ergonomic Rocking chair, the Horseshoe really is a fresh approach to seating.
The Horseshoe’s seat height makes it suitable as a dining chair. It also makes a great desk chair, occasional chair, bathroom chair, side chair or feature chair. Whenever I teach chair design, I encourage my students to think in terms of seating solutions. The Horseshoe is a classic seating solution. Its a fresh approach to an old problem.
