Shipping and Delivery
The items listed in the Online Store and in the Tools and Kits section are “ready to ship” and the Australian shipping cost is listed. International clients will still need to ask for a shipping quote and can not used the fixed shipping feature.
Because we have furniture clients all over Australia and internationally, and because the size and weight of what we send varies so much, we are not (yet) able to offer a simple “click and quote” service on every design or item.
Within Australia, we use either Pedemonts transport, Australia Post or Startrack Express to ship our furniture and items, depending on the size of the item and your location.
Where a design needs something "extra", like a colour choice of leather for a Cascade Rocker, we are at the mercy of the postal service and other suppliers. Rest assured that we will keep you fully informed at all times. Upon receiving an online order, we will advise you via email when the piece will leave our gallery.
We generally like to give a piece a final oiling just prior to shipping, so the piece usually leaves us three working days after the order has been received. We put a lot of time and care in to making our furniture, and we expect it to last you a lifetime, so we are not going to rush anything.
We offer a lifetime guarantee on all our furniture. We will repair or replace anything that goes wrong with either the craftsmanship or materials of a piece you buy from us. We define “lifetime” as the lifetime of the original purchaser. Obviously, normal wear-and-tear is not covered, nor is damage through misuse.
If you live outside the Canberra region, we reserve the right to have a local restorer look at the piece to make an assessment. We also reserve the right to engage a local restorer to undergo any repairs on our behalf.
We are only able to offer this lifetime guarantee because our work is designed to last a lifetime.
