Like much of our best work, this interesting and sculptural piece was originally a commission. It won “Best in Show” and the 2005 Sydney Craft show against visual art, ceramics, jewelry and textiles. Designed originally to fill an awkward corner, it has enough energy and presence to go just about anywhere. Much of the planning and detailing of the dancer was done in collaboration with Swedish maker Rasmus Malbert. This is a very collectable piece.
